Wow, what a great picture. They are so amazing. When we moved here 17 years ago, I was in the backyard when I noticed this bird in the sky and was pointing for Tom to look! look! It’s an eagle and spinning around following it. I thought, oh my the neighbors’ will see us and think what crazy people. It was the first time I ever saw an eagle not in a cage at a zoo. How exciting it was and still is today. Love it.
Janet,
Thank you for sharing your story. I pictured you and Tom spinning around. It reminded me of when Matt and I saw our first eagle together. It flew down in front of us, no more than 6 feet from of us, and was carrying a fish. There were two ospreys chasing him, screaming and yelling the whole time. I felt like I was watching a National Geographic Show. It was vary apparent that Eagle had stolen their fish. 🙂
